Chris Carder and his partners built Thindata 1:1 to be a North American leader in multi-channel database-driven marketing automation technologies, email marketing and strategic solutions. Chris serves as the President of Thindata 1:1 which is a key component of Transcontinental's innovative Marketing Communications Sector. He leads Thindata 1:1's success at bringing marketing solutions to top tier brands including: Aeroplan, Air Canada, Bell Canada, CBC, Canadian Blood Services, Scotiabank, HBC, M&M Meat Shops and Shoppers Drug Mart.
Within the marketing community, Chris plays an active role with the Canadian Marketing Association – serving as an award judge, volunteer for councils and contributor to Association courses.
Chris’ passion for leadership has seen him honoured with several awards, most recently, the Toronto Business Development Centre’s Excellence in Innovation Award. Chris also champions positive social change: He has contributed to the growth of the White Ribbon Campaign's as its Board Co-Chair – helping that organization grow to more than 60 countries and achieve international recognition from the United Nations. He is also a member of the Honourary Board of the ’40 Oaks’ Development Project in Regent Park.
A graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Journalism, Chris was honoured as the program’s top reporter and political science student. He has served as an Interactive strategist for numerous national and civic political/leadership campaigns.
Chris spends his personal time raising his young family with his wife Joy, volunteering with community organizations and maintaining his hopeless devotion to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
